I’ve just received a call from an automated voice (08979 041 013) telling me that my IP address has been compromised from several countries and will be disconnected in the next 24 hours. Asking me to press ‘1’ to confirm blah blah blah – obviously I did not do this and I assume this is a scam of some sort – thought I best let you know!

Accident claim - cold calling - I thought this was not allowed any more !!!
With the sounds of a call centre in the background a lady with a foreign accent said "Hello". I didn't speak (I never respond to call centre calls) and after saying "Hello" a couple of times more she hung up.
Kept on getting calls from this number at inconvenient times of the day. I live in the Horsham area so was pretty worried. When I called back a woman's voice said 'inbound' and there was annoying hold music playing. No one answered so I eventually hung up. Weird thing is when I called the number back off a landline it made no sound. I've now blocked this number!
Annoyingly persistent. Such calls should be banned. Nobody wants them and I understand from other sites that these people are scammers.
