01556 is the area code for Castle Douglas, which is in South West Scotland, not the Isle of Man.
This number is continuously phoning me on my landline (which is ex directory) I also have TPS and also on my mobile - they ring about 4-7 times a day and evening. If you answer they just hang up or they get my answerphone and they just hang up after listening to the message - it is a number that I cannot block on my mobile and it is getting really annoying
