Think this is an dangerous number
17 Dec 2021 - Confirmed my name and said they wanted to confirm i still wished to have spam calls blocked, told him i didn't care as the only annoying called i'd had was his. He then asked for my credit card details as they had expired. Told him to go away. He then became abusive and started shouting at me. I called him a rude name and put the phone down.Reply
SCAM Asian sounding woman said she was from Virgin Media - they see problems with my broadband. I had the same call yesterday from a different number. They cannot prove they are from Virgin and try to get you to do the ASSOC command or similar so they can prove they know what they're doing.
Said they were from Carphone Warehouse. They hung up immediately when I said that I don't have anything from Carphone Warehouse. Seemed very fishy...

SCAM / SPAM - Claims to be HRMC - Claims you will be arrested if you dont talk to an agent, then transfers you to a very strange hold message for HRMC.
Fraud- supposedly HM Customs - yeah right, asked for my name, if HMC they would have this on record attached to the phone number. Spent 5 fun minutes winding them up :-)
These, and similar numbers, are nearly all bogus numbers which can be set up for about £40 a time - obviously, traceability goes out the window -- surely OFTEL can do something ...
