ActiveQuote - Private Health insurance. Call center They call at renewal time, presumably so they can get another commission. I chose my existing provider from a comparison website and don't need any "advice" to renew with them. Obviously, if you keep change providers any pre-existing medical conditions won't be covered. You can supposedly email [email protected] to update your preferences. I haven't tried it yet, but it should stop the calls.

this number called me today. Foreign voice, said i had unfortunately downloaded some viruses, and if i followed their instructions "we" could make it safe again. They were apparently from windows. after a few minutes i told him i knew exactly what they were up too, and i wasnt going to fall for it

SPAM Received multiple calls over several days from 0203 769 XXXX, with varying final 4 digits. Blocked each time but very persistent. I generally don't answer unsolicited calls/unknown numbers, so unable to comment on source/motivation.

First they called tried to confirm that the were speaking to the person they were calling for. Annoyingly they would read back my address. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man. Just received a call from this number on my mobile. I answered and said "Hello?" whereupon the call was immediately disconnected.
