Well spoken Indian man asked for me by name, gave me my address & postcode, said he was from Domestic General and had checked my paperwork and as I had not claimed I can have a discount. Knew what products covered and type of policy, and paid on direct debit. Said paperwork will be here in a week. Unknown number calling a TPS registered private number. It is one digit different from 01226666737, Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd calling with a driveway scam that has been pestering my home number recently and may be the same. As usual, no message was left on the answerphone, which is always suspicious! Now blocked.

This is a SCAM caller pretending to be from Microsoft trying to HACK your PC to obtain person info and details. When challenged and after advising the caller I was an IT manager he just hung up.

It is a scam. This number was used to call me to say someone had fraudulently ordered a £750 i phone from Amazon and I should press a digit on my phone to be put through to someone who could help me. Checked my acct and nothing amiss.
Internet Female, sub-continent accent, purporting to be from BT: Unauthorized access has been gained to your router without password or authentication. "Switch on your computer!" On declining to do so, threatens to cut off internet for 14 days!
I called back this number and it said it was a unrecognised number so seems like a scam. It was on my work number so its annoying as you think you missed a important call.
