He offered to renew my van insurance, at a lower cost. My van insurance was not due for renewal yet he had a lot of details about me. However the van he had me as owning was from over 5 years ago, so I guess this is some old hacked database and then a scam to get your money. This guy said he was from vancompare who I have actually used before. Quite confusing but almost certainly a scam. The guy was South African

this call comes from the all inclusive club trying to sell cheap holidays at all inclusive hotels. Once you have bought into the scheme they bombard you with calls trying to get more money out of you. its impossible to ring back on the number to tell them to stop ringing as well, as you get the "line discontinued" tone. Comes from a call centre abroad i think. I ve had numerous calls over the last few days and each time i answered they just hung up on me, so not answering them anymore.

an Asian man called me today earlier on this phone number offering me a loan for my tuition fees as i am paying my own fees. he called himself David if i remember right. He told me as hes offering an unsecured loan from SkyQuid all i have to do is to pay £100 to an account as a deposit and he will straight away transfer the amount. Apparently he is calling back tomorrow "before time runs out" on whatever it is he won t tell me about.
