Phoned twice in 2 hours. Called it back and a recorded message starts thank you for contacting First Contact util energy. Please hold while we connect you. I ve played the message 3 times and can t make out the Util. It could be utility but not sure. I don t know them anyways so it s blocked.

1 day agoThis number is pretending to be NHS. They sent me a link to enter and "apply" for my NHS COVID Pass. The message also says "Failure to apply may result in a fine". And the link that they sent ends in .com and not in .ukReply

this number text me saying this is their new number and had lost contacts. They asked so send numbers of people we both knew. I stupidly thought it was my aunt Sue, and sent my mum, cousin and Nan s numbers. Anne, the city code for London is 020 but for the number to be valid then the next digit will be 3, 7, or 8. Even then it could be a spoofed number, tho!

Lots of scam calls coming from "0161" number at the moment so the the call was almost certainly a scam. These calls which use spoofed numbers originate outside the UK ...
