I reported HSBC to make a new debit card as I doubted my card's details were hacked last week. And a woman just rang me from HSBC by like Indian accent. I doubted HSBC wouldn't ring me like that. I told her to e-mail me and I hung up, and I blocked the number of 0345-600-8050, and I checked the number on this site. I already got a new debit card recently. Why did the genuine HSBC want to ring me now?

On answering, I got a recorded message saying it was something to do with bank security, followed by a message that was intended to frighten. I hung up, and have blocked the number. Call to my landline 0914 on Tuesday 16 May 23 Caller asked for me by name and started a long spiel about British Gas Homecare Once I could get a word in I told her I was not interested This was followed up about 30 mins later by a call from 01183150367 with a recorded message asking for a feedback rating I have reported this separately
