It seems to be all sorts of scams, according to reports on other sites - bank account overdraft or debts, deliveries, etc. The variety would suggest it s a prank caller.

Bunch of scammers. They claim to be different debt collection companies, from different numbers. Been going on for years. You pick up, the automated call kicks in, leaving a message for someone who doesn t exist. In my case, they are always asking for someone called Mr Paul Roberts.
