It's a fraud scam. They've somehow got a list of people who have purchased white goods and they're calling them to tell them the warranty has expired. I told him to fuck off and put the phone down as they were clearly trying to get me to pay for a new insurance policy when I blatantly didn't. They asked for my wife - using her maiden name and we ve been married for 11 years, where do they get their info from?! Apparently 01234 339 numbers are allocated to BT, who in turn have sublet them to rogue operators like this. Anyroad: add this no. to your blocklist. You can t live without a phone with nuisance call protection nowadays.
