Truecall answered and caller then dropped the call, I have now blocked any future calls. This number is unknown to me and I believe it is from a health care insurer

Some called offering to get rid of cold call, automated calls basically every type of call you don t want. For a small fee of ?1.90 per month, they would provide a box to stop the calls. Is it me or shouldn t BT be doing this for free

This is a scam. They phoned me on my (not a smart) mobile. An automated American voice stated they were from HMRC informing me that I owed money and they were sending the dept collectors around. To discuss this matter further and settle the debt I should press; 1. Problem is, I did my Tax Return in April and don't owe any tax. I've not owed tax for years. Said she was calling about my slow internet. I said hang on I will check using my App. It always takes about 15 seconds. I guess that was too long as she hung up on me. There was nothing wrong with my internet speed. Dont think genuine.
