Had a call at approximately 11.10pm that sounded fraudulent. Have a close relative in hospital with a severe heart condition so have been waiting by the phone for urgent news of their status. We have never had a call of this nature on our landline or at this hour and due to the circumstances it has caused enormous and unnecessary distress. Overwhelmed as i write this.

"Brian" called from this number. He called me last week from a different mobile (which I blocked) introducing himself as "Barry". I recognised his voice and told him to jog on (words to that effect) so he didn t have the opportunity to tell me again that he was calling on behalf of a creditor who was threatening to take legal action regarding insufficient loan repayments. Possible SCAM / SPAM - this man called saying he was the allocated shopper for my sister and that he had a box of 32 items for her. Accent difficult to understand. My sister already has someone allocated to do her shopping so checked with the council who have no record of him. It may be genuine but people need to take care.
