Fraud Received a message from this number stating it’s from Vodaphone and that ‘we are unable to process your latest payment. In order to avoid fees please update your information via...’ then it gave a link to an https address (looked like Vodaphone but too much else to be valid, I think). I haven’t progressed this, I don’t have anything outstanding with Vodaphone, but just be aware. I will be forwarding this to Vodaphone’s phishing area.
Had a missed call and so rang them back - company is Ascent Finances. Not a clue who they are or why they're calling. You can ring them back on 0161 820 1425 to have your number removed but I wonder if that opens up a whole new way for them to contact you. I'll just block

Also similar number called me recently - same range 011438304xx, probably the same marketing company? don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active... had a call from 01395873349 at 10.34am today 09/10/2015 to my land line. Answered it as coincidently it IS our area code. Female voice asked for me by name, although I did not say who I was she went on to say, 'its about the accident you had'!! Unfortunately as I was busy I just hung up and called it back, instead of it ringing out it just played music without any dialling tone so hung up.

Automat Called twice, no answer when I picked up
They called saying that they are a financial claim company based in Leeds and confirmed your address etc... I really don't know how they got my number and I now blocked them They asked me if I lived at some address where my sister in lives and if I am her (Sharon) and I said I don't. Someone must have given them my number and when i asked them they would not give me the name of the source who did so. What is strange is that they had my number but called me Sharon and confirming the address where she lives.
