automated call claiming to warning me of a HMRC fraud case against my name, asking me to connect to an operator

This number called and my phone labelled it as Suspected Spam. When I called back it went straight to 'on hold'. I blocked it.

This number called my mobile. I ignored it as I did not recognise a Chard number beginning 4. No message was left, therefore it cannot have been important.

Call from heavily-accented female who told me I have lots of viruses and malware on my computer. I asked where she was from - Windows department(!) I pretended to be shocked and asked her how she could tell and she got me to open event viewer - which I did, to see the normal number of errors and warnings. I answered the phone, they said nothing, I said "hello?" a couple of times and then a woman said "goodbye" sounding really creepy.

Unknown caller rang off after 3 seconds

5 calls today so far (4pm) 4 calls yesterday and the day before, no answer when I pick up and not accepting calls to that number.

A call stating they were from the Citizens Advice regarding debts and then thankfully call got cut off as I kept asking why they were calling!!!

Got a call on 26 May at 12:03, no one on the other side, just hung up. Got a phone call from another unknown number same day from same area (01743562667). Again no one on the other side. Very annoying! I suspect it might be someone trying to scam vulnerable people during coronavirus.

Called my elderly grandad just now (isn?t the first time). He couldn?t understand him so passed the phone to me. An Indian man calling from ?Remote Security? and enquiring about a ?computer or laptop in your house? I told him we didn?t have either and he carried on trying to talk, so I repeated that we didn?t have either and to not call again and he hung up. Expecting a call again tomorrow as that?s what happened last time I told them not to call
