Received three calls this morning. First, claiming to be from BT calling about my internet service. Second, silence when I answer. Third, claiming to be from TalkTalk and claiming that my internet will be shut down in 24 hours and my internet has been hacked by foreigners. I requested their full name and received no answer. I ended the call.

Poss scam, someone saying ive been with someone who s tested positive but they don t say who they are its just a phone number.

Phoned up, silence their end then they just hung up.....Which is what they should be! Looks like it is vanquis which I have NOTHING to do with.

I had a silent call (on 15/5/15)& as I was expecting a call from unknown people on this area code, I used 1471 and phoned back. I heard a recorded message "You were called today by Media Match. The cal was not important and we will try again later. Goodbye" A Google search for Media Match shows a US firm with this name, but on websites similar to this one they claim that they do not cold-call and that their name is being mis-used. Asian telephoned my aging mother in law nearly every week about some sort of consumer survey. Would not identify himself or his company, admitted to calling from S.E.Asia. Would not get off line, did not understand the concept of F*** Off and kept talking until I put the phone down. A complete nuisance and very disturbing for my disabled aged mother in law.
