Has anyone reported this number to BT or Virgin? They have a duty to investigate and disconnect landlines if they are causing harassment, alarm or distress. In some cases even prosecute. I have reported a few scammers and they and no longer exist. It wont' eradicate them completely as they will spring up again with another number but the more you inconvenience them and close the net the more likely they will give up. Remember, there are more law abiding people than there are scammers.
Safe number I am the owner of this number, I've owned it since 1998(!) It is correctly identified below as Excellent Consultancy Ltd, which is my business. I am a Microsoft Excel specialist, and as such have no interest whatsoever is spam calling people. I hate them as much as you do! If I've called you it is for a legitimate reason. Thanks!
