Fraud. A person claiming they are calling form CarPhone. Trying to sell me a new mobile plan with 40% discount. They could answer a my question if they are want me to switch my provider or they have a deal from my own mobile provider. They also didn't know who my provider is but wanted me to tell then. SCAM: Overseas call centre (possibly India/Pakistan) pretending to be Virgin Media called asking me to install AnyDesk.com software to help me "fix internet problems", got very abusive when they realised they'd been wasting their time as I knew instantly it was a scam and kept them on the phone for a while

I have no idea who could be from this number as I have had two calls from somewhere in France last week as well and I don't know anyone there either as I'm an OAP I can only assume that this is some kind of scam .I find it very worrying and am worried how they came across my number

SCAI was called from this number this morning. I had to ask twice who was calling but the caller's accent was so difficult to make out I still don't know where it was from. I did catch something about them submitting a compensation form on my behalf - something I have not done or requested. It all sounded very suspicious so I said they had the wrong number then hung up. I really wish something could be done to put a stop to these constant cold calls. It is unacceptable.

spam call pretenting to be a IT recruiter looking for contracting job. Does not leave you by if you let the person know that you are not interested or you dont know about the information they ask. Too invasive and prying to know more contacts in your firm. Stay away.
