The usual PPI story. Have had countless calls over recent months. Even pressing 5 for next stage elicits a recorded message. Eventually line went dead.

Called me over and over, fed up with these calls, so annoying!!! Blocked number now. So insistant and pushy.

Getting calls from this number and 0208 799 1950, they ring for a bit them cut off because I don't answer the call. I'm with 02

Yep me too.....I called the number back and some Indian guy said from HMRC asked my name then said “OK I will remove you from list” then hung up!

This number belongs to a Savings and investment company. Was very bad reception on the call but the company name started with the word Scottish. I couldn t make out the rest.

I missed 8 calls from this number in the space of 10 mins! When I spotted the missed calls I called back(no voicemail messages had been recorded) I had assumed it was very urgent owing to the persistence of the caller - the number is not recognised. Updated: just picked up a call - it seems I d had an accident, couldn t help but play along .... after a while I added that I was a police officer (which I m not!) and the line went dead - how odd.

Number appears to be legit but is being abused by fraudsters in connection with Tracy Dunne ([email?protected]), 55 Rural Vale, Gravesend, Kent, DA11 9JL, a possible reshipping mule, and stolen US credit cards. Orders placed using proxy servers. Online retailers beware!

08448682365 Annoying silent call at 18:56 0n 21 June 2014. Disabled person here; caused grief/pain getting to our TPS-listed phone; only to get silent nuisance call! "Permission to fix bayonets, Captain Mainwaring? They won t like it up em!"

2nd call asking about my Pension, personal pension, how long I ve paid or been paying into my pension. Avoid and don t tell them anything.

Claiming to be Capita and that we owed them an invoice and did not have any details of the school...

Cold caller ... Just told them straight away I wasn't who they was calling for (lol) told them to take my name off database not had a call since. Works every time.

Man with Indian accent. Said his name was Jerry. Called me Mrs [first initial of my oh s first name + his surname] which anyone can look up in the phonebook. Asked me if I was this person. I didn t tell him. Said he was from the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). I just pressed the red button.

tried selling me "extra good sim card", claiming to be from VM, didnt go through the tpical VM log in [you now enter various digits of passcode with keypad, NOT by voice], poor english, noisy line, they have phoned three times in the last two days from the same numer, I have now blocked their call.

This number has been ringing me twice a day for the past week. I never answer but they are persistant!

They call from this number twice a day under the guise of different company names - Direct Utilities, Business Utilities, Select Utilities, Regional Utilities. They are clearly dumb, because when requested to remove our details from their records and stop calling, they say OK and then don t do it, despite being told the we only have a mailing box address and therefore have no need for utilities. Go back to school, children!

Get regular calls from this number. Today a long garbled message I could not make out. Male voice. Fed up.
