i got a call, and answered by mistake the guy knew my name - asked if it was me i said yes then he told me he was callingto do a survey and would only take 2 mins (it never does lol) i asked how he got my number and he said i done a survey a while ago on ???? and i had offered to do a follow up survey - I said no i didnt do that can you remove my number from your database - he hung up lol
still keep getting calls, despite checking " block calls from this number". so the app may not be working properly.

I got an email asking me to ring this number regarding an overpayment on a car insurance policy from 2014. Thinking that it might be a scam I went online to find the customer services number for the company and rang them on that number not 0330 100 7303. It is a genuine email, they gave me my details correctly and then gave me my old bank account details. because I have changed my bank since 2014 they are sending me a cheque in the post instead. I was contacted regarding a Sapphire Magazine subscription following completion of a survey. This number, based in Cardiff. Very plausible female. I foolishly gave them my debit card number.
