The call sounded very much as if it came from a call centre because I answered, there was a pause and a click and then someone answered from what sounded like a very busy office. He gave me an overly cheerful 'gooooood morning', which I didn't know how to answer because it's 4pm here. As I considered my response, the line went dead.

Involved in a car accident recently, they introduce themselves with a name, not sure if fake name i.e. Amy...When you question them about how they got your number, they just hang up!!!!

claiming to be from 3 offering me a bright new future - not interested. they phone every few days 'to make sure' - persistent aggressive and rude. how many times can you say a polite 'no'? avoid. and block (see list of numbers below from another reporter - for the numbers they use).pests.
SCAM- automated message telling you tax fraud has been committed in your name and if you don't press 1 you will be arrested immediately. This came through on a work account with no links to my personal details.
