Rang me on two consecutive days but did not leave me any voicemail! I rang their number & a prerecorded greeting to enquire if I already had insurance, did I want to buy insurance or to wait & speak with an operator - I did not want nor intend to research the number any further but would suggest the number is a legitimate buisness making cold calls from Facebook Users who had clicked on an insurance advert and is probably of neutral impact & not any real risk if you do not pass any details in
This is for a travel agent called Tropical Sky. It was a legitimate call in my case.

This call came in on my landline, if I don't recognise the number I let the answerphone pick up. A recording told me that my Internet was going to be switched off and to press 1 to speak to someone. This is an obvious scam as they didn't mention the name of my ISP. They would only communicate be email. People would panic if they received this and possibly get caught out.

He started giving instruction for me to access my laptop. He swore at me when I said I wasn't going to help and he hung up

Recieved call from man with thick accent. Couldn't understand him and he didn't seem to be able to respond to my repeated questions about why he was calling me or where he had got my number. Came up as a roofing supplier number on my phone, although a web search for the number also lists it as an MOT centre. Might be a genuine business, but definitely an unwlecome call.

SCAM - the call looked like a normal mobile number. A pre-recorded message talks of a fraud against HMRC and an arrest warrant being issued - press button 1 or 2 Etc. I hung up - a complete scam, either attempting to get a premium rate return call or personal information.

There have been 22 checks on this number in 2 days, it screams phishing for information that will be used for scams or fraud in the future.

Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. Answered the phone, the person on the other end could barely speak English. Hung up, blocked and coincidentally immediately received a call from an 0203 number which I didn’t answer and blocked.
SCAM Phoned a few minutes ago and I stupidly answered despite not recognising the number. A foreign sounding woman asked if she was speaking to ...my name.. but when I asked who was calling she put the phone down. Suggests a scam.
