Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. Called me saying they had information I had been in a car accident. I asked who had informed them and she disregarded my question to ask her own. I then stated that if she couldn t answer the question then we couldn t speak further, so she hung up. I hope she sleeps well at night knowing that her entire platform of employment is based upon being a nuisance.

This number called my mobile and I ignored it which I do routinely. Then called it back from a switchboard number (so would be unknown to them) - permanently engaged. Quite constent with a dodgey number.

Phoned telling me they had a cheque to send for refund of bank charges. Had my name and address, wanted my date of birth. When asked which bank were refunding charges just repeated UK Financial Services. Told me they would cancel cheque if I didn t give date of birth. I said that would be fine and hung up. Its time uk phone numbers were stopped from being given to overseas callers.

Same SCAM again a different number (energy supplier) on no account give out any personal details. Trading Standards have already warned about this latest SCAM!
