"Brian" called from this number. He called me last week from a different mobile (which I blocked) introducing himself as "Barry". I recognised his voice and told him to jog on (words to that effect) so he didn t have the opportunity to tell me again that he was calling on behalf of a creditor who was threatening to take legal action regarding insufficient loan repayments. "Whenever you browse your Google, it picks up the viruses and malware and we can remove them". Clueless. Refused to follow his instructions, so he threatened to "block my computer". Oh no. Defo a parking fine scam. I let the call ring to voicemail as I didn t know the number and the message left was a clever automated one that perhaps changes if someone picks up. The message started halfway into a sentence, saying " ...from 2012 so erm the total charge for the ticket including interest is £220, how would you like to pay . Then a silent gap, I assume timed for someone who answered to say something in response. Then him saying "if you don t pay by tomorrow would you like that to happen?" T

I have asked these companies to delete my contact from their database, since I am in the Robinson list, and it is illegal to contact me, since I have not requested anything about stock. This is a new, and weird, one for me. Called my landline but disconnected when I picked up (now they know this is a live number,,,damn!!). No message left so I'll never know if I have been left millions of pounds from an unknown benefactor who needs me to handle his money, for a small fee, to help them evade paying local taxes or being claimed by a fictional Government department.
