SCAM - Pretending to be National Crime Agency notifying you that your National Insurance Number is being frozen and all your assets along with it. Probably an Indian/Pakistani poor idea for a scam. Like all the other comments, this was a recorded message claiming to be from Inland Revenue (I should have smelled a rat immediately at that point - it s HMRC now...) and that I was being sued. Brain not in gear, and in panic, dialled 1, but silence at the other end, then call terminated. I am now so angry. This was actually just an automated BT text-to-landline service telling me the time slot for my Costco parcel delivery that I was expecting, so this was completely legit for me. It will try ringing you several times until you listen to the text message so just listen and it will stop. However, as it's a generic BT service it is open to abuse but I would advise against blocking it because the message delivery service itself is not a scam, just be aware though that the message you receive could be bogus.

I received 2 text messages saying I had missed my delivery from hermes. I have not placed any orders and not expecting any deliveries.
This company are making unsolicited calls. I have received one this morning and when I challenged the caller the call was terminated from their end. The number I was called on is listed with the telephone preferrence service.
