Number seems scam

Said they were wanting information so they would tell me how much PPI I was owed. Wanted my borrowing history over 15 years. They asked me security questions but I kept saying I didn t know who there were and not happy to give out personal information. Conversation kept going in circles as they couldn t give me answers I wanted. Called me Mrs which has never been my status!

Called me twice in two days. Didn't pick up because I just don't and yeah. Glad I didn't after reading these because I'm only a tweenager (is that a word? I think it is)

Mobile rings once from this number about twice a day. Now received an text message saying I have 1 missed call from the above caller and to press send to call. Why would I? Will just keep ignoring the calls as I do with any spam caller - eventually they will stop trying...

I have been abroad for 2 months and started to receive calls at night in the second week of being away (due to time difference I guess) on average once a week. I have never answered & no message is left. Although the number shows as a regular number on phone call list you can t return the call using the number. On googling area code it shows as Glasgow, & on googling the whole number various sites come up with people recounting similar stories - so I will try to block number / not answer...and would advise
