Missed a call from this local looking number, tried to call it back but got messsage saying nmber not recognised - likely SCAM or Fraud or SPAM
No idea who called. I didn't recognise the number so I didn't answer. Caller's number apparently located in Newport, South Wales and no reason for anyone from that location to call me.
SCAM Identified themselves as "Credit Investigation Department". Very rude and threatening. Obvious scam.

Received on my mobile twice in quick succession. Number unknown to me, so did not answer. No voicemail left so assume this was a sales/spam call. similar number 07711271806 tried again today. According to map location both calls originated from the same place, a few miles South East of Great Mitton. Number originates from O2 system.

Fraud 01224928396 @ 14.20. called my wife to say an order of an Iphone13 was placed at 8am this morning, when i said we were asleep at the time, she said in her "foreign accent", that we would be billed for it, when i asked if they had my card details, she said yes, so I asked her to read out which card, she then hung up on me. when trying to dial back the number, it doesn't connect, DEFINATELY a scammer.. AVOID...

The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. But what put me off was as soon as he had finished his schpeel he asked without prompt for my bank details. I said I would get back to him next week when I had done some research into the company.

They rang my mobile but rang off just before I managed to answer. I called them back but I got a message "This number not recognised". So I guess it is a scam call using a spooked number.

This is a scammer posing as customer service to help verify your Amazon prime account so you can log on your devices he wants you to share your screen go to your cart on ur Amazon account and verify your car number by typing in your car number while sharing your screen with a person that you do not know. They will pressure you into the putting in your information But don't do it just pay attention to the website that you typing in your verify ur TV so I cam watch ur app. He tried me but I got on his nerves

SCAM, called from a different number first saying he is calling from curry’s pc world and offering mobile phone upgrade at very cheap price. I suspected fraud, so asked for the company details so I can check and call back . Was given this number. When I called ,instead of going through switch board options, someone answered straight away saying “ curry’s mobile phone company, how can I help?” I knew straight away it was a scam, a few fraudsters working together pretending to be a company.

They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. SCAM Cold call from John of the equity team claimed changes to equity release scheme, wanted to ask me questions to see if I was eligible 'phishing' said I wasn't interested, he said I didn't need to be at this stage I then said he had cold called and it was illegal he said that wasn't right. I repeated he was a cold caller and I wasn't interested. He remained polite but realised he was getting nowhere. I withheld my number and rang 01970607568, it rang, then automated voice, number not accepting calls.
