Had 3 calls over the last few days from various numbers all starting with the same dalling code, 01926. 07401878848 is a mobile phone number at an indian call centre, i traced it back through the network. Someone pretending to be from amazon stating that my details have been used to order some high value items and that to cancel it i would have to do as they instructed. They wanted remote access to my computer/tablet/phone so they could steal my data. The idiots didn't realise that they had phoned an it company. when i informed them of their mistake they hung up.

an automated call from an undisclosed bank telling me that there had been a £500 and £1000 spend on my credit card. I can't track down this number anywhere and would also have expected it to tell me which bank was calling..... off to do some further investigation

Told the caller his records were out of date as they were the last time he called.... so I don't think we have anything to discus. Hung up. SCAM called offering for my business to be featured in a publication which will highlighting legitimate local businesses and rogue traders (hopefully I fall into the former). Asked if I'd like to be featured as their "(my profession) of the year" for a fee, when I questioned it they hung up. Initially claimed to be from a crime monitoring unit, which was odd since they called from a mobile number.
Appears to be an EVRI scam. "Your EVRI parcel was unable to be delivered today. To reschedule your delivery visit: https://parcel-reschedule-uk.web.app/" I am expecting a delivery today and this is the second time the scammer has access to this knowledge!
