Its not just AO I just received a call from a young woman claiming to be from boots appliances, in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact her sole purpose was to sell insurance cover! She repeated every detail of my delivery, which I already know, told me they can remove my old appliance, which I already know etc etc etc then asked me why my old appliance was broken! All leading to the insurance pitch! These are badly scripted insurance sales calls! I am very disappointed that boots

Said she was calling from a concert company but then went on to say she had just been informed that I d been involved in an accident that wasn t my fault. Ignore!

Beware...This is a scam. Caller named Alan announced that he was calling about my computer. Given that it was an unsolicited call from person who could in no way know if I had a computer or not, I immediately hung up and blocked the number.

This is a Scam ,but unfortunately it was to late for me.It was not untill they phoned me and said that another claim that I was expecting, they said that had come through.But I phoned another no from my paperwork and they told me it was a scam.I called UKASH to put a block on Voucher.But they had used most of it .They also changed one in to Euros.I am now out of pocket ,plus the 6% that UKASH will charge in getting a refund.SO BE AWARE

Strange phone call, like someone previously stated....I also had an issue with the guy when I asked him not to call again, he was rude and aggressive, he appeared not to know my name though he said I had put my details online. I certainly never. Something fishy.

Almost certainly a scammer. Use the call-blocking system on your mobile or your landline if your provider offers this.

I am totally sick of this company ringing my house. Been going on for more than three years now and I am sick of asking them not to keep calling my house. Some times they call up to 6 times a day. They rang yesterday and then hung up before I got to phone. I rang 1471 and I have numerous problems with my arms and hands and pressed 3 by mistake and returned the call. Now I have been charged an extra ?7 pound on my bill for that call. Not happy.

Enjoyed stringing him along, the man from First Response / MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) I asked if he meant the Men In Black, as he was calling to see if my RTA had been sorted out, I asked which one he was referring to as I said I have had few LOL, he couldn t give the information he was referring to but said in the last 2.5 years. I have received calls at my home land line number as well as my mobile . However I do not answer these types of call numbers . My real complaint is that I have a new number as my old number is now my business line , they do not ring that though just my new one and no one has been given that apart from family and close friends !!So how did they get it ?

This number belong to Ideal World the TV shopping company. I had a call last week with the customer service after my request. It is a neutral call centre in my opinion.

Typical pattern: "We called you x-months ago & you agreed to place advertising with us in a crime prevention booklet" & when I denied the call their first line was, "But we have recorded evidence" (great business approach to customer relationships & satisfaction!). I have requested a copy of the recording several times & they agreed to send it, but it never arrived. They have sent invoice; payment reminders; continuous phone calls

Text out of blue to say congrats Andrew you won our lottery prize!! I never entered any lottery and names not Andrew. Now called mobile everyday for a week and left voicemail now blocked. They call my work mobile!!!!!!
