First time I ve had this call and with a specific telephone number. She did give a company name but I couldn t get it. wouldn t say what it concerned just kept insisting on information regarding my number and my address. Said nothing was being sold but if it was just a survey the attitude was terrible!

I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). This caller would likely be asking to speak with Mr Strevitt or Mr Gwendoline. As has been the nature of the calls for the past 3 years. Asked whether I was from Kettering, Corby or Wellingborough and got shitty with me when I asked what it was about - was told nothing more than its was grassroots campaign and that when she knew which town, she could tell me more. I hung up.

Received a call from this number a few minutes ago. They asked for me by my real name which i never use. Said they were calling from talk talk about upgrading my package.
