Called this number back & she claimed to be from HMRC who apparently have served me with two warrants around miscalculation of Tax. They apparently called at my home on two occasions during lockdown when I was home and not allowed to leave me house. She was very plausible, giving me a name, badge number and warrant ref numbers. Male Caller, stated he was from car phone warehouse and wanted to let me know about a special offer they have running. I asked how he had come by my phone number as I’ve never dealt with the company, but he immediately launched into a sales pitch. I stopped him saying he should not be phoning my number as it is registered with TPS. He said thank you and hung up.
