Received a few calls every week since start of April 23 Have never answered amp theyve never left a message
SCAM: automated voice, saying from Visa about £900 pounds being used for a purchase.

Call received regarding the 20 interest I paid to the HMRC for my PPI claim that I should be able to claim backquot Woop Woop the excitement I felt was a big fat ZERO as I have never made a PPI claim and if I did should the company I did the claim with not contact me to arrange the refund to me I advised the lovely lady who loved calling me Ms Amanda that I am not interested in the scam or in giving them any of my bank details and to remove me from the database immediately
Scam automated voice call telling me it was HM Customs & I was wanted for…at that point I cut off the call and blocked their number.

Called me today 14/3/23 says that from housing repair team. They got my details from my housing provider. Only thing is I'm homeless. So where did they get my name and number from? Be careful if contacted by this number

I had a call from this number yesterday the caller said he was from British Gas to arrange a service I wasnt convinced that he was genuine and I asked him how I could be sure that he was from British Gas he immediately hung up Although this is a genuine BG number scammers can mimic numbers to make it look like the call is legitimate I will log into my British Gas account when I want to book my HomeCare service

A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. Fraud - I was called off one number trying to get a security code that would reset my O2 account. when I refused to give the one time code to the lady she got aggressive. I said I would check with O2 customer service and if everything was ok would take up the offer. I was given this number as O2 customer services - IT IS NOT. I reported to O2 (202) and they confirmed that this was Fraud, and if I gave them the code they would have had access to my O2 account.

Definitely a scam, someone called using a VOIP program, could hear the tell-tale audio noise as well as the delayed relayed connection. Claimed to be from O2 offering a 50% discount on my monthly call plan, let him get so far into his spiel until he said he was going to send me two codes. Red flag behaviour; never give anyone your text-acquired code, it is to hijack your online account.

SCAM - they were trying to offer to switch my phone contract to get a new iPhone. I had to ask repeatedly for them to remove me from their calling list before they listened and said goodbye. Number is now blocked.
