This phone number rings everyday, sometimes at least FOUR times, in a morning alone, and often through the course of the day, an EVERY day.
First half the call I thought I was talking to a real person, said they were from some housing repair scheme and said I'd submitted a damage claim. The second I said I had not the voice changed to an automated response in a totally different voice saying Thank you for your time, have a nice day and disconnected.

As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.

Claimed they were calling from my bank but never told me which bank. Their claim was my account had been scammed with two transactions for large amounts over £1000,00 and they needed to authorise the payments.

SCAM - most likely spoofed number of a hotel in Bournemouth. They leave an automated message on my Spanish phone voicemail .
Claimed to be from Virgin, calling about internet. Got increasingly frustrated with me when I said I didn’t recognise the number and would call Virgin myself. Didn’t believe the guy with Indian accent and I hung up when he wouldn’t go away. Scary as it sounded like a big call centre in the background and it would be easy to get sucked in. Hope everyone hangs up and karma catches up with what I believe are scammers.

It says it's from the gov. website and asks you to click a link to add your bank account details so that they can deposit the amount in your bank, so beware! SCAM Got 2 calls today, first one at 8am with a man with a indian accent who wasn't sure what name to call the caller and second one a woman more confident but as soon as I said that I was going to report her number at Action Fraud she started to panic. I made her believe that she was recorded and she change her tone of voice to terminate the call asap. Seems that they only hire Indian people behind this number.
