called today claiming to be from UK health security agency regarding covid 19 vaccination status. uttered obscenities and hung up when questioned about why they were using an inactive mobile number to initiate the call. had details of the street that i stay in.
Its a travel agency called www.mytripuk.com safe reliable and cheap. Highly recommended.

They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. Received on my mobile twice in quick succession. Number unknown to me, so did not answer. No voicemail left so assume this was a sales/spam call. similar number 07711271806 tried again today. According to map location both calls originated from the same place, a few miles South East of Great Mitton. Number originates from O2 system.
Indian call centre person (could hear others in the background trying to scam others), claiming to be from the Utilities Department. Told him I knew he was a scammer as there is no such thing as the Utilities Department. He hung up and I blocked the number. They also use 0161 669 0643 and 0640. Seems they have purchased quite a few numbers to scam people.
