Fraud. A person claiming they are calling form CarPhone. Trying to sell me a new mobile plan with 40% discount. They could answer a my question if they are want me to switch my provider or they have a deal from my own mobile provider. They also didn't know who my provider is but wanted me to tell then. I started asking questions and it became more and more evident it is a scam. IT'S A DANGEROUS SCAM! A computer is dialling numbers in sequence to sniff out voice lines. If you speak then the line is detected as 'an active voice line' and logged as such, a scammer will then be calling you later! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear a voice and then the line goes dead then congratulations - you have just successfully escaped being scammed! THESE CALLS ARE HARASSING AND ALWAYS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!

This number called me on 16/02/2023 at 10am and was a auto-mated message claiming to be from bank security. It's a scam call.

Had a few calls from this number but the line goes dead when I answer

they say it's from a security center and claim that two large p[ayments have been deducted from my card - and to press 1, if made by me and 2 if not

SCAM! I was called from this number for the second time in 18 days. This time, however, I was out and missed the call. I recommend you have nothing to do with them and tell them nothing. It's almost certainly a scam!

Fraud Fraud call from very far away, with Indian accent. I've been covered in these fraud calls lately. The connection is poor and sounds like internet calls and they don't originate in the UK.

Heavily accented caller from outside the UK predictive diallers are banned here who could not pronounce my name They gave up on the call when I refused to speak English and they obviously didnt speak Gaelic

SCAI was called from this number this morning. I had to ask twice who was calling but the caller's accent was so difficult to make out I still don't know where it was from. I did catch something about them submitting a compensation form on my behalf - something I have not done or requested. It all sounded very suspicious so I said they had the wrong number then hung up. I really wish something could be done to put a stop to these constant cold calls. It is unacceptable.

SCAM - clearly someone trying to get info about bank details. Rang pretending to be from my bank - starts with an automated message stating a large amount of money has been requested from account & if not authorised, press 1. Person then answers but does not know name/details etc & tries to get you to give details. Be really careful with this number - clearly fraudsters/scammers.

Fraud, informing falsely that money was being taken from my account via my card, plus an international transaction for £1000 and payments to amazon.

I have hsd this message on answer phone several times over the last couple of months. It says someone has tryed to take £300 out of my amazon account and transfer £1,200 to another country and wants me to contact them. I check my account and no money has gone. They are conmen looking to get my bank detailes.

Probable scam. Didn’t answer but when I called back I had a message saying the number was not in use. This is a red flag for a scammer!

The person calling me told me that someone made a transaction of 2000 euros from my bank and wanted me to give him my data. I hanged up

Any caller that doesn’t wait to be answered or starts 0843 0845 etc are scams as far as I’m concerned.
