Well spoken young male Caller stated "Hello my names Chris and I am a heating insulation advisor in your post code area" or something very similar. Clearly not the case as the caller's number was displayed on my phone. I replied " No you're not you are a bastard scammer" Chis replied OK and rang off.

SCAM / SPAM Called once, immediately hangs up in the hope people will call back. Blocked loads of these numbers already. Once you get a call like this from one scammy nob-head company, they keep calling with new numbers in the hope that you react and call them back. Don't answer, Don't call back. Its usually a premuim rate scam that either has some kind of fax machine tone, or someone claiming to be someone they're not trying to keep you on the line for as long as possible whilst running up your phone bill

Warranty/insurance scam. Problem is few of these scams get reported to the police so it’s rare that the criminals get nicked. Recorded message says it is PayPal and that they have noticed 2 payments this morning that I have made for large sums of money and to ring 1 ,2 etc if not me and 3 to listen to message again. I ignored it as was busy, just rang the number and spoke to a poor lady that said she has had several calls and she lives in Hull and it is obviously not her. She was very apologetic, not that it is her fault. Surely the Telephone service can stop this from happening.

This number is connected to a computer security con – ignore and block. The Company names they give are Web Security Global, Microsoft 24 Security Support and Web Expert Security – ALL ARE non-existent. These callers are persistent, aggressive and thoroughly unpleasant. They have been reported to Trading Standards and to the Police.
Keeps on calling up to 6times a day Blocking doesn’t work they still clme through… Trying to sell me a crypto currency thingy and told them that I’m not interested and they shouldn’t call back :-/ Second time told them what the call was about, they hung up.
