Received several phonecalls from this number. Unknown how they got my number, however the call is unwelcome and I usually do not answer. However this time I called back to tell them to remove my number from their database. The operator said he would do so.

Fraud SPAM SCAM Told that I am being called from Visa Security Department saying that there has been a fraudulent purchase made for around £900 from my amazon or ebay account and whether I want to stop this fraudulent payment when no such purchase has been made or is even pending from my bank account. Call center Said they're calling about my O2 mobile phone account. I don't even have a mobile phone account with O2. :D When I told them that, they tried again with a different mobile phone provider. When I said I don't have an account with that provider either & said I don't get involved in scams, they hung up.

Call centre stating that I may be eligible for loft insulation / help with my heating bills under a new government scheme. Caller went on to ask if I was a home owner and if I worked full time or if I was entitled to any tax credits and whether my heating was mains fed or fuel. When I stated that my house was mains fed I was advised that I don't qualify. The call ended.
SCAM. Claims to be from HMRC and "if you don't press 1" etc, they will come and arrest you! Plaid there game, pressed 1 and spoke to some fraudster in India who was bemused that I'd actually gone along with their scam before he hung up on me!
