Scammer calling to gather your details under a guise of "HMRC" accusing you of tax fraud. HMRC would ALWAYS send you a letter, and when they call or email, they would ask for consent first via letter

Indian caller said was from the Carfone Warehouse telling me I've been selected for 50% off and what phone I had. Told them not interested in a new phone. They then started to demand I tell them so told the caller to f-off and do one. Felt like a scam, just after your money, have blocked the number. Never known Carfone to behave like this.

Believe a scam - I had a letter which says it is from Lloyds Bank ( we do have a Lloyds Business a/c) but when rang this number on the letter they couldn't find our account by searching via name or post code or by ref number on letter - they asked for our account number which I didn't give or if I had a business card with me - I hung up - the phone number location for this number given above is a field near Blackburn in Lancashire but the address on letter is Edinburgh

Unsolicited call to my business number from male, with northern Lancashire/East Lancs accent, suggested they were from E.ON & wanted to talk about energy tariff. Asked information, I told them they I don't have an account with E.ON nor 1 ready for renewal. Hung up on me.

SPAM - Unsolicited phone call. After saying "Hello" down the line a burst of computer noise/mumbled automated voice was heard before the call disconnected. Likely an automated call failing to register properly so most likely a scam call.

This was an insurance 'have you had any accidents'? call. The new trick to get me to answer was the use of a local dialling code, they are getting sneaky.
