I have had numerous calls of this number and I answerd and was asking about have I got a pre payment meter and saying they was part of a goverment scheme I have had numerus calls and the people talk over you on the phone then a male asked if I was on a mobile I replied what has that got to do with you then I asked where did you get my number from he said I got it of a system that has every body on pre payment meters in your area and I stated my current energy supplier hasn t got my number I have oly had it

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 16181490xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with some wide-scope telemarketing call centre, reported with PPI, insuarance marketing, loans/debts, energy schemes. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. They said her computer was in really bad shape from the virus & said they d have to call her back. When they did, she was told it would be additional $. Her total paid, over $700. These people are a real pest, continuing to call at all times of the day, even though their calls are left unanaswered.
Called my mobile - woman saying she represented a company I didn t catch (sounded like "Mitchell Churchill" or similar) saying she understood I had had an accident not my fault. Told her she should not be calling as I had opted out of cold calls - she hung up when I asked her to repeat the company name.
