The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. SCAM automated voice says they are calling about your visa card and master card and about a £600 transaction that took place...total scam, visa and MasterCard are two different companies and they certainly wouldn't be using a mobile phone number to call customers

Someone who sounded asian rather than Armenian called and asked me to go to her website. There was so much background noise (usual noisy room full of scammers) I was unable to hear what she was saying except she asked if I bought and sold stocks and shares which I do. I told her I had never heard of her and trusted no one who cold calls me to sell me something. She said she had not told me what she was selling. I suggested she sent me an email as she claimed she knew all my details and hung up.

Claims to be a life insurance company I asked for a quote from. I have not asked for a quote. When I said I think this is a scam call, the woman got aggressive and asked how I know it is a scam call. She was a cow.
