Claimed to be from Vodafone. Said a SIM swap had been requested and wanted to check this was correct. I said it was not correct. He then said he suspected my account had been hacked and that he would sent an SMS with a code which I had to read to him. The SMS came from Vodafone and had a code with text reading 'this code gives access to your account, do not share it'. The caller was a scammer and wanted access to my account. I hung up.

Cynical call, a day after receiving a SSE dividend, an unsolicited call from the USA about my share holding. An Indian sounding person, in a call centre, who had to asked on whose behalf he was calling. Then said it was some form of financial company. As if one would talk about your shares to an unknown person, acting for an off-shore company. Initially he was trying to make me believe he was connected to SSE.

Ethnic gentalman offering Medic alarm personal system for free when challenged suddly came up as only £39. 00p per month for 1st 6 months (Not exactly free) try to confuse me with medical science I am a retired Paramedic so when I presented some possible medical situations using medical words the phone went silent. Whoever called from this number 02083131130 said they were from HMRC. This was an audio say that HMRC have been trying to get in touch and to press 1 to carry on the call.

Called my mobile, I have an app that tells me if it's a spam call if the number is not in my contacts. This came up as "Suspected Spam - debt collector" - Not sure if it was, I didn't answer. Searched a couple of these sites and the number is not listed anywhere - very odd

Had a card through the door saying they are from Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire County Court Bailiff Team - called the 01582 506 714 number and it just rings out. At the bottom of the card it says Albany Print and Design, HMP Isle of Wight....pretty certain this is fake!!!
