SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas. We're now completely skint and can't afford to pay the wages. Been doing some investigating and his name is Tyrell, apparently. Fuck you Tyrel

Just had a call from this number on my house phone. Lots of noise in the background but no one answered and they put the phone down. Called the number back and number is not recognized, so obviously a scam.

Asking for money

Unsolicited and unknown cold call that follows an Amazon card scam call therefore strongly suspect scammers. Beware this number! Have blocked and reported to Action Fraud!

Number 01665604816 seems to belong to a legitimate company, but the number is faked and displayed by thieves trying to access people's bank accounts with fake warnings about illegitimate payments from their account.

I asked to be removed she carried on about how she can get me a loan and asked how much I need so I put the phone down and same number rang straight back so I ignored it and today they have tried again it's 9:30 on a bank holiday

Someone in Hong Kong, China used this phone number as job reference check purpose. This person tried to deceive the company for salary with his Fake CV, experiences and reference letter.

Said they were BT, I had too many people using my IP. The account name was wrong. They said they could block them from their server, but it would be better from my PC. After my challenges they sent a text message with a verification code. It said to change my password. I did. Had one previously, real BT support said it was a scam. Assumed this identical call was too. Only the false account name was a clue, otherwise how can you tell?

Told me they were calling regarding repairs reported to the housing officer - I don't live in that area or rent!

I called back the number and its a cover for a debt helpline, I went through option 1 (Support) as I was going to tell them to do one and the line dropped, so my numbers going to be going to every arse whose parents never loved them, who have become spammers around the world. SPAM from a caller with a strong foreign accent, possibly Indian. I struggled to understand what was being said. They were wanting me to confirm that I was the council or housing association tenant and to discuss paying for repairs/damages. Addressed me by my first name. This was the second call of this nature I had had, albeit from a different number, of the same nature in less than 1/2 hour. I believe it was the same company who had ignored my initial request to remove my number from their list.

SCAM! Caller told me that he wanted to talk to me about my Vodafone contract…… I don’t have one. When I told him he rang off.

Could well be a scam. They send a link through Dropoff Services asking for name and address details and asking for £2.99 by Visa or Mastercard to deliver an unknown parcel. Warning Be aware Scam l think They have texed me 6 days in a row !

SCAM the person on the phone was asian caller from India very hard to understand as he refused to provide with clear details of the company that he was ringing on behalf of, rushed his words when told to speak slower and clearly he made out he did not understand wanting me to stay on the phone for longer but I put the phone down after frustration even after I tried to give him my time to talk to me clearly being if asian background myself but he kept going off topic, very suspicious caller do not trust.

SCAM 562-431-8960 appeared on my cellphone today as WELLS FARGO. When I called it back, I got a LOUD screeching sound. I quickly hung.up. Is this scam,?

This call is from the Visa Debit Fraud pretending there is a pending transaction of £900 and to press one if this is not a transaction you recognise. I never pressed one, but I suspect if they did my bank details would have been requested. I checked with my bank there are no pending transactions

Automated voice saying 2 transactions have gone out my account, both amazon, for £300 & £1000. Press 1 to cancel blah blah blah... I hung up! ((((SCAM))))
