SCAM Caller claimed to be from EON Next - very poor line, started to claim that they were calling regarding an issue with our post code and wanted meter details. I refused as I'd had another similar call from different number last week - which had all the hallmarks of a scam, so I hung up then and called EON Next back to verify what was going on. They had no record of any calls being made by EON Next to my company either in reference to our post code or our meter numbers. TOTAL SCAM - HANG UP !

Call was a recorded message saying that I had 2 transactions off £750 off my Credit card this morning if this was not you press 1. I didn't do it but I did check with my accounts and it appears to be a scam. As they didnt say which Credit company either. Plus surely they wouldn't use a mobile phone either. They would use land line to ring from. Plus an email or text.

A legit company is linked to the full number I.e (0)122 etc but it's displaying at +44. SCAM - when I answered the number, it quickly turned to music as if waiting in a queue (similar to waiting to talk to your drs). So I rang it back and it said “sorry this number doesn’t exist”! I had been called by 0161 818 4494 and by 0161 818 4493 it was same for both they do not exist. So I took the last number off changing it to 0161 818 449 when I rang it said the same, it doesn’t exist! I think this is a number used by a company who cold call trying to sell you something, that’s my thought on this.

"Megan" from "Nationwide Fire Safety" claimed that we had a quote last year (2021) for inspection of 5 fire extinguishers for 89+vat but that has expired, but she can offer us 67+vat for 5 and 5+vat for each new one for an inspection on the 24th of October at our Ashford, Kent address. We have never had fire extinguishers, we moved from Kent over 8 years ago and have never received a quote from this company (which doesn't actually seem to exist!).
This is an international call from another country, First Class Spam.
