Scam - automated call saying that it was a from amazon to make me aware of possible fraudulent activity on a card connected with my account and would I please key in financial details etc through them. Ended call and checked on my account and card myself - no problems.

These people have called the last 4 days on mobile, today I have received 7 calls. Every hour basically, I ve tried calling back no one picks up, they are getting info on apparently ppi refunds. They want all your details. Please do not engage these people or pick up the phone as they are waiting for confirmation the phone is active.
finance company. very aggressive wont take no for an answer. politely asked them to remove my number and she said she wont and i will recieve the calls again in future. passed the number to the police for harassment. block this number at all costs

Weird call - phone "answered itself" when no-one was near it. I heard voices and went to investigate - found my phone playing a recorded message. A bit unsettling really. Anyone else had this experience?

SCAM call received from this number at 1130 on Mon 19/10/2020 stating “THIS IS A CALL FROM BRITISH TELECOM. YOUR LANDLINE AND INTERNET ARE ABOUT TO BE DISCONNECTED. PLEASE PRESS ONE”. I suspect that this is one of those calls which when you press “1” you will automatically be charged for a premium call. Call center Lady calling from a Health Insurance provider insisting on asking a few questions that would take under a minute. Despite my polite response of not being interested she still pushed so I gave her a chance. They know my full name, postcode and house number and when asked where this data is from they said it’s from a public database.
