SCAMScam. 'Christopher' from an 'accident claims line' regarding an accident on (correct date) that was 'not your fault'. This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). This number called today at 07.36 and claimed to be from Microsoft. The person with an Asian accent told me my computer has been compromised and said have you herd of hackers. I asked for an email to confirm it was Microsoft but he reassured me it was and trust him he has details of my computer security number, we went round incircles a bit, then I put the phone down. 10secons later he called back asking why I put the phone down as I new he was genuine but called me from a different number02088884827.

I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). I terminated the call, then tried calling the number. An answering machine announced that the number wasn't accepting calls. Obvious scam. I've blocked the number.

I didnt answer because I was in bed and it was 9.30am saturday morning. Unrecognised number from a mobile phone. Rude awakening! If its important they will leave a message. Might have just dialled the wrong number but my spidey sense says it's a scammer. I mean random mobile number.... at this hour... not welcome!
