just caught the call on three ring..district nurse with important info...as you all say it seems silly they will not tell you to ring or contact them in some way but it all has ...

I answer only if I know the number because I know that if I don t have it,it will be a call centre or similar. This number tried to call me 5 time in a week! is it important? leave a message!

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Called today, asked for me by name (worrying as he said he got my number from price comparison sites, not possible as I always give 999999etc) said he was phoning to overhaul my life insurance .I have been registered with TPS and ex directory for decades.

Report the number to Ofcom (Easily found using a search engine).

Still not sure who called, rang it back as expecting contact with Brentford County Court, the call was answered by answer machine that said "Trying to connect you" then some music and then the line went silent so I cut the call when that happened and still no answer. Seems dodgy now but will see if they ring back.
