Phoned me few times in the last 3/4 months. Its machine, not a person. They are telling me they are HMRC, I have tax fraud and if I won't contact them they will arrest me immediately. Says things like ?and how do you know your life insurance isn?t now up for review? to try and fish for information regarding when your life insurance is up for review to make them sound legitimate. Also said ?we?re not dodgy, I think it is cause of the Welsh accent people often assume I?m from a call centre?. Hung up when I told him I was at work. I think they guess who you have life insurance with so they sound legit. They call around once a month.

I had a call from this number saying it was my bank security, usual pre-recorded message about card being used for purchases on Amazon. When I called the number back it just says Oops you might like to check that number and try again. Pretty sure its a scam number

SCAM - beware if a supposed family member sends a WhatsApp message saying they’ve lost their phone and that this is their new number. Whoever it was tried to scam 4K from me by pretending to be my son in trouble. Luckily the amount was too much to even think about sending it without speaking to him. So please please make sure you know who you’re talking to. If it had been a smaller amount I may have considered sending it.

This organisation is constantly calling touting for car accident claims and promising being able to claim several thousands of pounds in injury awards. This is inspite of having explained on many occasions that I received no injury. Their sole aim is to encourage people to make fraudulent claims and they in turn pocket fat fees. Such actions only increase motor insurance costs across the country. They should be legally charged with attempted fraud and punished if found guilty.
