I received a call from Motorpal today Telephone number 029 2036 4211 , they wanted me to pay £1 for vouchers to be sent then alarm bells rang so I did some checking and found this site. I have asked them to call back tomorrow as I said I did not have my card to hand lol. I will be giving the details of the caller to the fraud squad tomorrow and contacting my local MP after the general election . Claims he is calling from a company called Assist Co, government backed, claiming that he can make me "debt free". When I asked how didn t he know that I may already be debt free, he said this is why he was calling! Told him I wasn t interested and added this number to my rejected calls list. Asked his where he got my details from, just kept on repeating that he was government backed. Cannot find any info relating to Assist Co on Google

Did not answer call as number not in my contacts list. No message left on voicemail which is a bad sign. Tip if someone wants to get hold of you, they will leave a message, if no message, then either telemarketing or spam or scam callers

Called me, picked it up right away, waited for a hi/hello for a second and they hanged up. Probably a scam/spam call.
