Steve rang from BT Exchange said he needed to know how many extensions we had as they were working in the area, if we did not tell him then thet are covered if there are problems with the lines. i questioned if he worked for BT he said yes bt exchange, he was going to send me a letter but did not take address.
They introduced themselves as Microsoft employee. As I have a mac with no Microsoft products. I told them to go away politely.

They have just called again whilst I was doing the barring procedure. They usually ring 4 times, then give up for a few days, then start again from a new number.
