I m unsure why so many people think this number is a scam, unless scammers can make your phone show this number in replacement of their own. I ve had several calls from this number and the caller knew details about my account that only the bank could know. I d made an online complaint and hadn t told anyone, and they knew of previous issues I d had with my account.
SCAM- scammers posing as SANTANDER. They’ll message you as SANTANDER (seems legitimate) saying you will receive a text message from the above number in a few minutes. The text from above number asks you to help save the environment by going paper free by receiving your bank statements, documents and letters via email rather than the post. It said it will send me an email with my actual email address in the text, which I can see would again seem very legitimate). It said type ‘YES’ to go paper free. DO NOT!

just had a call from this company as i was having a dump . ran downstairs to answer and they hung up and now i got skidmarks in my pants.
SPAM trying to sell loft insulation telling me my lift could be mouldy. Hung up when I told him my husband is a building contractor.
