SCAM Forgiegn caller rang to "Renew" appliance insurance for £500.
I can confirm this number is sales line for Laithwaites Wine. I am a member but they do try to 'up sell' additional cases in between regular orders.

SCAM Received a recorded message from National investigation agency saying my NI number had been used in fraudulent activity. Hung up. They phoned back 10 mins later on 07703665956

Noisy call centre background noise. Claim they’re domestic and general and my washing machine insurance cover has expired!

missed call on my nobile, glad I Googled it and found this site.
Called this lunchtime and asked for my wife by name. Having been told who was calling (allegedly) I asked whether my wife had requested that she be contacted, and was told "No." I said that, in that case, she did not wish to speak to them.
